ItsEasy Passport Renew & Photo App Reviews

I didnt have time to renew my passport and had to book a business trip but my passport was going to expire while I was traveling. I found this app and it walked me through everything from updating my photo through to the end of the renewal process. It is safe, secure and best of all, IT IS EASY! I highly recommend it whether it is for personal or corporate use.

Downloaded the app, took the picture but it appears to be too dark after taking multiple pics off an HD camera. Have to print out the envelope, follow the instructions.....Go to the post office and hang out for 45 minutes... Much more interaction there

I simply couldn’t be more thrilled with my experience using the It’sEasy Passport App! I needed to update my name on my passport, as I had gotten married, and, unfortunately, I waited until the last minute!! When I opened a magazine and saw an article praising It’sEasy, I figured I’d give it a try (who wouldn’t want to simplify the process!?) Affordable ($29) and true to its name, It’sEasy handled EVERYTHING, not least of all allowing me to take MY OWN Passport photo through the app (I live in NYC where everything is a chore, so this was SO convenient). When I submitted all my materials, it was a little over three weeks until my planned trip to Italy (again, MY FAULT for waiting until the last minute). I was naturally a little nervous, but figured I could track everything and receive my passport right before my trip and it would be fine. Now, here is the part where you need to pay attention: The customer service at It’sEasy is AMAZING. No sooner after I sent in my passport materials, I received a call from Dave, the owner of It’sEasy. He called because he noticed the date I was leaving and wanted to offer a more thorough service (at a great discount), that would ensure HE would personally shepherd my passport through the process. He was very personable, professional, and frankly, I appreciated the offer and the concern for having my passport to me sooner. Not only did my passport arrive at my home earlier than expected, but Dave was in communication throughout the process and assisted phenomenally, going above and beyond every step of the way. Simply put, for $29, there is really no reason NOT to use this service. Professional, courteous and thorough, this experience gave me one (major) less thing to worry about, and I am forever grateful!

Order placed over 10 days ago. Still havent received pictures. Status check mentions that due to upgrade not available to check status. Avoid this app to save time and money

This app really is terrific. Makes passport renewal simple and quick. You dont have to leave your house. And I got my new passport in about 3 weeks although I didnt pay for expedited service. Highly recommend!

Perfect. Needed passport photos for my baby. I put a white sheet on the floor with my baby in the middle and took perfect photos. The company sent me my photos in 2 days. Great App. Would use again

Its easy. Phenomenal app. Needed a China visa in a pinch. Its Easy came through with flying colors. They made the process unbelievable easy.

My kids and I were going on a trip, but it turned out that my passport expired. So I used this app and it work perfectly I was able to get my passport quickly and go on my trip with my kids!!

Needed a visa quick and the photo was complimentary. Simply downloaded the Photo App and ItsEasy had the photo instantly to attach to my visa application. Highly recommend. Will use again.

My elderly mother needed to renew her Passport. We were able to take her photos at home with this convenient and easy to use App. The quality of the photos was excellent and far superior to any other passport pictures we have ever seen!! This App saved us a trip to CVS where they take bad photos that are expensive. I would highly recommend this App to anyone who needs a Passport or Visa!!! Its FANTASTIC !!!

Cant use existing photo

This is great. No more running around trying to find a place to take a picture. This really is easy. Photos shipped to me very fast via Priority Ship. Never left the office and saved time and money. I recommend. 3 thumbs up.

All the glowing reviews, but it totally didnt work for me... The picture didnt center, it didnt take my credit card information (gasp) and then I looked back at the reviews--other iPad users had similar issues. Sniff.

This is moronic at best. 1. Its not beyond the US. 2. I just needed a photo. This wasted download time and asked me 10 input fields. What a stupid application. Please dont develop if youre going to waste time. This app is meant to help in emergency situations. You just made my situation worse. Thanks. Deleted this app. Next time state in BOLD that it doesnt do what it says on the tin. And its not meant beyond the US. Waste of data.

Superior customer service

A $30 service fee for renewing a passport, which is otherwise free, is extortion. Also the app isnt very good. It is aesthetically lacking, plus when you scroll through a list (such as when you need to select year of birth or year passport expires) the item you happen to stop at is the one it selects. If you are born in the mid-1980s of earlier you have to either flick-scroll and pray for the best or open and close the scroll list multiple times before it gets to the item you need. In addition, half of the services take you to their website rather than keeping you in the app. Im going to be renewing my passport the old fashioned way, which will save me $30 and some headache from not using this app. Lower your renewal fee to the $0 the Department of State charges and maybe Ill reconsider. Id even be okay with printing my own photo and mailing it myself. Those two services are NOT worth $30.
